When you pay for your ride
The total at checkout is what you pay, including taxes and gratuity.
Timing
You pay when you book. For rides in the next few days your bank may show a pending charge that completes after your trip.
Pending charges
A pending charge disappears if your request is declined or you cancel inside the free cancellation window.
